Donations can be made on-line using your credit card. Please click on the following link:

Network for Good provides a safe, secure way to make on-line donations. In order for the full amount of your donation to be credited to the Alameda Food Bank, Network for Good absorbs all of the processing and bank transaction fees. To help offset these costs, Network for Good requires all donors using their service to donate an additional five percent.
Legacy Circle
Donors who would like to remember the Alameda Food Bank in their estates automatically become members of our Legacy Circle. If you would like to learn more about our Legacy Circle and the many ways non-profits can be recognized, please click here.
Food Donations
The Food Bank accepts donations of canned and other non-perishable
foods in unopened containers. We also accept limited quantities
of perishable items like fresh produce, meats, dairy products, etc.
If you would like to make a food donation, please stop by the Food
Bank (1900 Thau Way, click here for a map) during normal business hours to drop off your items. We can accept donations regularly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a m to 5:00 pm . Tuesday from 10:30am to 6:30 pm, Thursday from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm and the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30am to 1:30 pm. (Closed on holidays such as 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)
Pick-up arrangements can be made for larger donations by calling
the Food Bank at 510-523 5850.
A record number of clients has resulted in the depletion of our food inventories. Below is a list of key food items that we need to ensure a healthy, balanced food package for our
clients.

Financial
Financial donations are used to purchase approximately 50% of the
food distributed by the Food Bank. We receive many food items
through "in-kind" donations, yet we must augment these
donations with purchased items to provide a nutritionally balanced
food basket. Thus, financial contributions to the Food Bank
are equally as important as the food donations that support our
efforts.
